First Meet Up
Pradeeksha and Ajay had a quality time in WhatsApp. She was yearning to meet him in college but he cleverly circumvented her thoughts initially. Meanwhile, she grasped the intentions of his behavior. To her source of amazement, he promised to meet her after 6 days. She felt sceptic when he said but gave a chance to him. She accepted his itch.
The time passed and finally they met each other in college as per his promise.
"Hi Pradeeksha, did your dream come true?", he asked.
She was astonished and confused about his tricky words.
"My dream?", she questioned.
"Your yearning of meeting me in person, baby", he said.
She was such a happy camper at the moment when she heard those words from him. She wanted to express her feelings on him at the next moment. But she asked, "Is it obvious enough, Ajay?"
"I can read your mind and understand your feelings by seeing your text, Prade", he said.
She blushed after hearing that and asked him about the specific 6 days.
"I usually don't share about my personal life to anyone baby and I don't approach people unless they approach me. You had blindfolded that thoughts in me when I met you first. I have something to say you about my personal but.........", he gave a pause.
Pradeeksha looked totally spaced out. She was completely shaken up. What if he says he is using her as a rudder to sail the ship. Many questions encircled her mind.
"But?", she asked.
"You got to be lucky enough, Prade. You already captured my heart and you do reside there in the small corner. I feel I have met my soulmate after 20 years", he confessed his feelings.
"It took 6 days to build up my courage to utter these words to you, baby", he exclaimed and gave her the favorite chocolate.
I love you too Ajay she wished to say those words. But something stopped her and she said, "I need some time to think about this, Ajay"
There was a silence and the phone call broke it. It was time for Ajay to go for his practice.
"Can we have snacks in canteen?",he asked.
"I am not feeling hungry but I like to watch you having snacks",she said.
He felt they were the match made in the heaven and they left for canteen by holding hands.
"Hey Prade, do you know my favorite snack?", he asked.
She seemed to be down in the mouth. When she was about to say she was not sure, "Have you ordered Chola Puri as usual?", a question was aroused in a familiar voice.
When they turned around they saw Varun. Pradeeksha recognized him.
"Hi Varun. How are you? Long time, no see", she asked.
"I had some work da", said Varun in uneasy tone.
Varun joined with them and had snacks. There arose an awkward silence. Pradeeksha was not aware of Varun's feeling but Ajay cannot express his love before Varun.
"Be careful on your way to home, Pradeeksha. Message me once you reach home", Ajay broke the silence.
Pradeeksha was not sure why Ajay was more formal before Varun and she planted the seed of doubt in her.
"Sure, Ajay", she said and bade a good bye to Varun.
"Hey Prade, Miss you!! Be safe and take care", said Ajay before he let her go.
"I will be waiting for you, Ajay", she winked and left home.
